I bought a 6-ton (12,000 pounds) bottle jack at a local Checker Auto
I have used bottle jacks or those mini floor jacks with good success
I had the same problem you mentioned the jack handle and the jack did me
no good when I needed them. I called a friend who came with a 1994 ford
an I used hte bottle jack from that truck.. worked just fine...
